WHAT IS THE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD ?

The Night of the Living Dead began for several reasons. First, the country needed a professional deadlift only meet as there was not one at its inception. Second, the area had forgotten its rich deadlifting history and needed an event to remind the people of their iron-laden past. Third, I had just started a high school powerlifting team and we had no money. The NOTLD allowed us to raise money for the kids and to bring in some of the greatest deadlifters on earth to inspire them to new heights.

What began as a small meet with 10 lifters has turned into the most exciting deadlift meet in the world attracting the premier deadlifters from America and even a few from overseas.

Pretty Strong Powerlifting Signs on As the Sponsor of the Female Division for 2012

Pretty Strong Powerlifting has signed on as our first ever dedicated female sponsor. They have upped the prize money for the female lifters to an even $500. For the first time ever, they will also be providing special t-shirts for the female lifters.
